Written as a companion to Milton Lomask's Ship's Boy with Magellan, this guided study follows Pedro, the ship's boy, as he voyages with Ferdinand Magellan and his men. Magellan is known for cirucmnavigating the world. Although he himself does not complete the journey, one of his five ships does.
 
Including map work, words to know and narration prompts, this guide is targeted for ages 7-12 (Forms 1 & 2). This guide includes 2 different approaches to mapping, with one approach including a printable outline map contained within this PDF file.
