Program 1

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to share with you that all 3 terms for Program 1/LSB is available now! The complete lesson guide for year is now available.

I recently created a document showing how the Program Guide differs from the Complete Guide. You can find this by going to the tab "Programs" and clicking on it (rather than scrolling down to "Program 1", "Program 2", etc.). Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. There is also a sample at the Digital Shop.

I'd love for those of you who decide to purchase and use the program guide to feel free to communicate any ideas or suggestions you might have here -on the forum. It would be wonderful for those of you using it at the same time to have each other for support and help.

Is there an ETA for the lesson guide? I know you have lots of work going on, and I'm excited to see all of the individual guides coming out.

Just trying to decide whether or not I should get started on pre-reading or wait for your awesome guide to be available.

I know the lesson guides are being prepared, and I'm not trying to pressure. (I promise I'm being patient, in spite of all my questions.)

However, what are your thoughts on purchasing the study guides for the books mentioned in the program outlines? This would be to get started while waiting for the full lesson guides. For example (as I'm looking specifically at year 3), the Children's History of the World or the one about birds.

Would this just be a waste as I'd be doubling up, or a smart move because the lesson guides won't be available in the next six months? (I know the curriculum writer is doing a ton of great work right now. I so appreciate it all.)

I was looking at the curriculum by program pages. I see that there's the required resource of the outline guide, but it also has a recommended resource of the lesson guides.

Are these just not available at this time? I didn't see them in the shop, but there's a note at the end of program 1 that the lesson guides for year two is different than the complete guide. So I wondered if I was merely overlooking them.
