Thanks Lisa, sorry to hear you are overwhelmed :( Summer is busy...life is busy! It seems to be the season we are in as well. I appreciated your feedback and honesty regarding the curriculum. I'm sure it will come together at some point. I'm intrigued by the LTOW class you took. I bought LT a couple of years ago, but am overwhelmed by the the look of it. Although, I haven't made much time to sit with it either. It doesn't look user friendly and feels cumbersome. I was thinking about selling it, but now after reading your words, maybe I should take another look :) Have you ever looked at Novare science? I've been looking at their Introductory Physics course. I have some mixed feelings about their young earth/old earth views, but I like the presentation overall. It looks like a mix of the Hakim book with Conceptual Physics :) I'm going to borrow it from a friend in the next couple of weeks and take a closer look. Thanks also for the EiE links. I think old books are quaint as well :) Summer is going too fast!!...and is way too short to begin with here in WI. Our family is well. My daughter's softball league is winding down, but my son's trap league goes all summer. They both have jobs. I feel like a taxi service, lol. My youngest turned six a couple weeks ago. He keeps us all on our toes. On another note, I'm going to try your Classical Greek Lessons with my 9th grader in the fall. She will study two streams of history, including Ancient Greece and Early American , approx 1540-1800. I also purchased The Epics course from Roman Roads media to guide our study through The Iliad and the Odyssey. I'm looking forward to putting it all together. Please keep my posted on your Physics study. Blessings, Melissa
