Which method or principle has had an extraordinary influence on your homeschool?
I'd love to start a "conversation" about this?
If I had to answer this question, then I think that I would have to say that "Education is a life" was the principle on which I already felt deeply, but had not given it words. These words, along with many other Charlotte Mason principles, drew me so compellingly towards her approach to education.
I think that "Education is the science of relations" was a principle that was newer to me. I loved that it explained the amazing interconnectedness of a well-constructed educational philosophy.
PS-My choices reference Charlotte Mason, but please don't feel obligated to follow suit. If there is a method or principle which fits under another heading, but was still most influential, then please feel free to share your thoughts on it.
